
Meet the Team
Tahnai Annis
Tahnai played D1 soccer at the University of Florida. After her collegiate career, she went on to play professionally for Þór/KA, a club in Iceland’s top-flight women’s league. She also played for and captained the Philippines Women’s National Team. She began her coaching career as an assistant coach at Averett University and also served as an assistant coach for the Philippines U17 Girls National Team.
Vero Avila
Vero is originally from Southern California, but she moved to Chicago to pursue her dreams of playing D1 soccer at Chicago State University. She recently graduated from Chicago State University with her Bachelor’s degree. Coach Vero has experience playing at the highest levels, including the semi-pro team Chicago City.
Reaghan Duval
Reaghan graduated from Campbell University with her bachelor’s degree, where she also played NCAA Division I soccer. She then earned her master’s degree from Lenoir-Rhyne University while serving as the graduate assistant goalkeepers coach. After graduation, Reaghan served as an assistant coach at Robert Morris University while also working as an academy goalkeeper coach for the ECNL Pittsburgh Riverhounds Development Academy. She is currently the assistant/goalkeeper coach at Northwestern University.
Elisa Solis
Elisa is currently a graduate assistant for the women’s soccer team at Roosevelt University (D2). She came to Illinois, originally from California, to pursue playing D1 soccer at Eastern Illinois University.
Zoe Swift
Zoe played D1 soccer at the University of Kentucky. Prior to college, she was a member of the U.S. National Team pool for three consecutive years. She had a standout career at Kentucky and entered her senior year as the Wildcats’ leading returning scorer. After college, Zoe began her professional career with West Ham United in England and Puerto Rico Sol. Since then, Zoe has returned to Chicago to pursue her coaching career.
Edina Taerbaum
Edina played D2 soccer at Ferris State University and Aquinas College (NAIA), gaining valuable experience at the university level. She also spent time playing semi-pro soccer. In her coaching career, she has worked with the Junior Rangers Soccer Club, FC Lakeshore, Team Evanston, Forest Hills Eastern High School, and Soccer Skills Schools.
Robert Turpin
Robert is the founder of TST. He played collegiately at the University of Michigan, where he was named team captain. Over the past 20 years, he has built a coaching career that includes leadership roles with several youth clubs across the Chicago area, as well as serving as Assistant Men’s Coach at DePaul University. Beyond coaching, he served as Assistant Athletic Director at the University of Chicago and holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Sports Programs from DePaul University.
Lali Zambrano
Lali began her college playing career at Santa Barbara City College before transferring to play D1 soccer at Chicago State University, where she later began her coaching career. In addition to her role as a coach, Lali serves as TST's Director of Brand & Content. She recently earned her Master’s Degree in business administration from Chicago State University.
